Common Ground CoHousing, Wicklow
From 2018 to 2020 I was a member of Common Ground CoHousing in Wicklow. The project was initially based on the LILAC model in Leeds (Low Impact Living Affordable Housing). The idea was to set up a CLT – Community land Trust using a new model of home ownership called MHOS – Mutual Home Ownership Society and engaging a form of governance called Sociocracy. I worked within our Design Circle and facilitated workshops that allows us to co-create our brief, and discuss typologies, lifestyles, dreaming, and backcasting.
