My Community Co-Design Practice
I believe that the process of shaping the environments we share should be entirely democratic, transparent, and built from the ground up.
- What I do: This is my collective facilitation practice. I design and lead participatory design and community engagement sessions for local networks, rural initiatives, or public groups across Ireland who want to build a shared vision before reaching out to county councils or large commercial builders.
- My focus: I champion democratic eco-design. I ensure that the process of shaping shared public spaces belongs entirely to the people who will actually inhabit them. I use creative arts, collective brainstorming, and deep environmental listening to bridge the gap between radical green ideals and real-world execution.
- The Outcome: I guide your group to create a unified, community-backed spatial strategy and low-impact design framework. This empowers you with a clear vision to present to funders or local authorities, making sustainable, shared spaces accessible to everyone.
